LINYA LEGAL

Privacy

This draft policy explains how Linya [ABN pending] handles personal information when you use our website or document review workspace. It is written for Australian users and is intended to be clear, not legalistic. It is awaiting legal review.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to provide the service: account and contact details, project and document information, comments and review decisions, and basic technical information such as browser and usage data. A project manager may also add a reviewer's email address to send a review link. We also record aggregate page-attention information, such as time spent on a page and viewing sessions. It records page activity, not who viewed a page.

How we use it

We use this information to operate review rounds, share documents with the people you invite, keep a record of requests and decisions, support the service, and protect it from misuse. We do not sell personal information.

Who can see it

Information is visible to the people involved in the relevant workspace or review. A review link is a bearer link: anyone who holds it can access the review features enabled for that link, so it should be kept private. We may use service providers that help us host, store, secure, or send service communications. Comments may also be sent to Google Gemini for summarisation, which is third-party AI processing. Providers receive only what they need to provide those services.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No online service can promise perfect security, so please keep accounts and review links private and tell your project manager if you think access has been shared accidentally.

Access, correction, and questions

You can ask to access or correct personal information connected to a project through the project manager who invited you. For other privacy questions, use the contact channel provided in your workspace. We will consider requests in line with applicable Australian privacy law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version will always be available on this page.
